April Antics

April was a very busy month for Regal Engineering & Line Boring; a very exciting month actually!

May2016 Malcolm TurnbullI was invited to present a seminar to mining, engineering and metallurgical students at Curtin University’s West Australian School of Mines in Kalgoorlie. My presentation formed part of the very successful series of seminars at WASM aimed to provide their students with access to specialists in the mining sector, with diverse experience and qualifications.

I presented on the topic of “Mining Maintenance & Asset Management”, and had the pleasure of meeting the futures leaders of the mining industry and answering some of their challenging questions. I am pleased to say that I have been invited back!!

I also had pleasure in attending the WA Leaders lunch where I was invited by the West Australian CEO Institute and had the pleasure of meeting The Honourable Malcolm Turnbull, our Prime Minister. I was encouraged to hear him voice his understanding of how business is tough in WA and that he is keen to discuss options for assisting businesses ride these difficult years.

Regal Engineering is also proud to have been awarded a 3 year contract with St Ives (Goldfields), to carry out their Mechanical, Electrical, Piping & Maintenance works. We are pleased to be working in partnership with our colleagues at St Ives to deliver quality and safe outcomes, and develop innovative ways to add value and minimise costs.

We continue to see strong growth in all of our divisions with positive feedback provided by all of our clients.

Best wishes and see you when I am on the road.

Matt
